Events

We have a great group of women who meet once a month. This group is open to not just our church members but to all women. We have many projects and activities that we participate in throughout the year. We make prayer quilts for people who are seriously ill and need the prayers of our church members. Each time a quilt is requested, each member of our congregation ties a knot in the quilt as they say a prayer for the intended recipient. We also work with Walnut Grove grade school across the street. We donate needed school supplies to them at the beginning of the school year. Sometimes we just spend time together. Nonprofit organizations always seem to be in need of money and unfortunately we are no different. Our congregation is small but we are a family. We are committed to Jesus first but we are also committed to each other and to the church. When we sometimes run short we host a fundraiser to get us through. We may also have a fundraiser when there is something special that we would like to buy to help us to continue to be a great church. We have a fundraising committee that meets throughout the year to decide on which fundraisers we are going to participate in. But for each and every fundraiser to be a success, we need YOU! Please make plans to attend our activities which will be listed on this site as the information becomes available.
